Innovation Manager

We are seeking a creative and strategic Innovation Manager to join our Marketing team. This role is integral to driving our company’s growth by leading the development of the innovation pipeline, creating both new product concepts and building on our current platforms, while collaborating closely with the marketing, sales and R&D teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CPG and/or Food, and a passion for innovation.

This role is hybrid (2-3 days per week in the office). We are prioritizing local candidates but are also open to candidates willing to relocate to the area.


We are seeking a creative and strategic Innovation Manager to join our Marketing team. This role is integral to driving our company’s growth by leading the development of the innovation pipeline, creating both new product concepts and building on our current platforms, while collaborating closely with the marketing, sales and R&D teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CPG and/or Food, and a passion for innovation.


What You’ll Do:

  • Manage the development and implementation of innovation strategies that feed into long-range and annual plans for assigned categories, aligning with overall enterprise goals.
  • Lead the development and execution of product and packaging innovation initiatives, including concept development, category and competitive assessments, feasibility, product and packaging exploration, consumer and sensory validation, size of prize assessment, customer sell-in, and tracking of in-market performance.
  • Identify growth opportunities by leveraging syndicated research, trend data, primary market research, and competitive intelligence.
  • Develop meaningful consumer concepts and positioning for innovation ideas that add value in the category and effectively communicate product benefits to consumers.
  • Collaborate with finance partners to develop Innovation product P&Ls and pricing strategies that meet brand objectives.
  • Act as the project lead and a liaison with other cross-functional partners to ensure that the innovation initiatives progress toward launch and receive the necessary resources and support.
  • Work collaboratively with consumer insights, R&D, and culinary teams to identify and build exploration areas, build research and development plans, and solve business challenges.
  • Partner closely with sales and marketing teams to understand and integrate customer strategies into the innovation pipeline.
  • Other duties as assigned and necessary.


What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of product innovation or marketing, preferably in the CPG and/or Food industry.
  • Strong analytical & research skills with the ability to interpret data to make recommendations and informed decisions.
  • Ability to translate consumer and market insights into brand and innovation strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Naturally curious about new products and new consumer behaviors
  • Passion for health and wellness and a deep understanding of consumer behavior in this space.

Customer Replenishment Analyst

This critical role within Kevin's Natural Foods' Supply Chain team is designed to provide analytical support and drive improvements in required customer metrics, including On-Time, In-Full (OTIF) delivery, cost management, and inventory optimization. Working cross-functionally with KNF internal teams, this position supports our customer base across multiple channels. You will partner with the sales team to deliver on our commitments to key customers. The role will play a key part in executing new item launches, managing assortment strategies, and ensuring smooth communication between Kevin's and customer teams.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and manage replenishment plans aligned with customer demand and internal sales forecasts. Utilize customer-specific replenishment systems to optimize inventory and ensure timely product availability.
  • Develop and implement analytics and reporting to measure and improve service levels, ensuring excellence in metrics like OTIF, customer satisfaction, and product availability.
  • Deliver in-depth analysis and reports that support customer team objectives around growth, service, and operational excellence.
  • Act as a proactive contact for sales teams to address service needs, forecast adjustments, and inventory inquiries.
  • Contribute to process improvement efforts that enhance customer interactions and overall service levels.
  • Develop plans for managing inventory flow and service levels, identifying potential risks and proactively resolving issues to support excellent customer experience.
  • Support the setup and execution of new items and displays, ensuring alignment between replenishment needs and sales strategies.
  • Oversee purchase orders and manage core KPIs such as upstream inventory levels, service level, on-time delivery, and aged inventory.
  • Support store-level, sales-based forecasting using a variety of forecasting tools and systems.
  • Develop and execute scenario planning for events, identifying potential stock and service risks based on inventory flow, supplier capabilities, and merchandising plans.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure strong business relationships with customers.
  • Be the central point of contact for all cross-functional teams concerning customer demand needs.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in areas such as production scheduling, inventory control, transportation, or supply/operations planning.
  • Strong ability to build effective relationships both within the company and with external customers.
  • High level of detail orientation, curiosity, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in delivering clear, concise reports and presentations.
  • Technical proficiency with SAP and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Senior FP&A Analyst

The Senior FP&A Analyst will serve as a key finance partner to business unit leaders, providing critical support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This role ensures alignment with corporate objectives while promoting financial discipline and continuous improvement. The analyst will play a central role in driving the annual operating plan, quarterly reforecast processes, periodic latest estimates,  all while ensuring linkage to accounting and aligned financial communication.

This role is ideally hybrid in Stockton, California, but can be remote with quarterly travel if necessary. 

What You’ll Do:  

  • Drive the annual operating plan, quarterly reforecasts and periodic latest estimate processes, ensuring assumptions and inputs are clear, rationalized, and aligned with corporate goals. 
  • Drive the bi-annual long-range plan.  
  • Collaborate with business leaders to develop and quantify budgets and forecasts, ensuring spend aligns with strategic objectives. 
  • Continuously refine financial drivers and key assumptions through periodic reviews of forecast, budget versus actual performance, and key metrics. 
  • Build, maintain, and update financial models to support business needs. 
  • Prepare and present periodic updates to leadership team and review results with department owners. Monitor and communicate opportunities or risks in spending relative to business objectives. 
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. 
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure trends and help business partners set financial benchmark goals. 
  • Aide in designing and implementing process improvements where appropriate. 
  • Own data submissions to Parent company and maintain relationship with Parent company FP&A to assist with inquiries, requests and materials.   
  • Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and drive their implementation. 
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the team. 
  • Other duties as assigned and necessary. 

What You’ll Need:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree (MBA) or professional certification (CPA, CMA, or CFA) preferred. 
  • 5-7 years of direct experience in FP&A, with a strong focus on budgeting and forecasting. 
  • Prior experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) or food industry preferred. 
  • Solid understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, and GAAP. 
  • Experience with SAP ERP system 
  • Proficiency in financial reporting and excel skills 
  • Highly self-motivated and accountable workstyle, with internal sense of urgency and desire for efficiency.

Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

The Maintenance Technician works under the general supervision of the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor. The individual is primarily responsible for ensuring that production equipment is at maximum uptime and in good repair. The expectation is the maintenance technician Level I will continue to grow in skills and abilities working closely with supervision and are promotable to Level II when the opportunities arise.

This is a 3:30pm-12:00 am shift, Monday- Friday, with overtime as needed.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform general mechanical maintenance and repairs on production machinery and buildings.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment as well as plant electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Be able to perform preventative maintenance on the machines.
  • Assists in servicing and replacing minor plumbing fixtures.
  • Performs minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician such as replacing light bulbs and fuses.
  • Assists in minor carpentry and repair work.
  • Maintain machinery, equipment, and tools by cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and/or oiling to ensure optimum working order.
  • Completes emergency/unscheduled repairs as required to support manufacturing, as well as scheduled repairs/preventive maintenance.
  • Works closely with maintenance personnel on small projects including repairs and new construction projects to ensure work is completed safely and according to specifications.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment on assigned projects/tasks and report to supervision the status of each as needed.
  • Ensure safety by following all company policies including safety rules, safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) personal safety standards, and food safety standards.
  • Other duties as assigned and or dependent on plant needs.

What You'll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in maintenance technician role
  • Experience in a meat processing and or food processing environment preferred.
  • In conjunction this individual is also responsible for maintaining an adequate set of personal hand tools that are in good working condition
  • Possesses strong analytical, mechanical, and electrical skills.
  • Must be able to make decisions and react quickly as job requires close attention.
  • Must be able to lift (60) pounds from the floor to waist level; must be able to perform strenuous physical labor at times more than 2 hours.
  • Some bending and stooping with frequent climbing of stairs; must be able to climb ladders of various lengths to elevations of 125 feet.
  • Must be able to work in confined/tight spaces.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as production mandates.

Pay Rate is $23.00-27.50/hour
